Hair loss affects almost half of all men. It can be a crushing blow when a man first notices his thinning hair. What often happens is a relative, friend or lover breaks the bad news to him because he can't see the back part of his scalp. The balding man is like the faithful husband...always the last to discover what's really going on behind his back.
Let all men suffering with hair loss take some hope from the following NBC-TV Today Show video. It's a report by Dr. Nancy Snyderman about an amazing baldness cure being developed at the University of Pennsylvania.
Pay particular attention to the "after" photographs. The bald spot has been completely filled in with new, full hair. In this example the new hair is white so when I first viewed it I thought it was the "before" picture because it's surrounded by darker hair.
Matt Laurer picked up on this as well. He does a great job on this hair loss cure interview because towards the end of the video he points out to the viewers that the white area is not a bald spot but actually new, full, rich, white hair surrounded by darker hair. He then has an informative discussion with Dr. Nancy Snyderman about why this example was white and more importantly when this hair loss cure will be available to the public.

don't think companies like Rogaine, etc would let this new development cut into their $1 Billion business unless they're with the same manufacture.

I have been constantly searching the web for updates to this discovery since it was first aired. Does anyone know of an update? I have also been checking this website http://www.follicabio.com/ which, I believe, is the company that was mentioned that bought the patent from the Dr who discovered this.

It is a nice Idea but from my experience in sales leads me to believe that big multimillion dollar business that sell hair loss products would never let this hit the market or at the least try to discredit the therapy or perhaps buy them out...
This development for the hair fall cure would give so much advantage to us, who experience hair loss.
Is this for real? There are some medicines claiming to regrew your hair but takes longer time to be noticed
