Receding Hairline Treatment

°

No man wants to lose his hair. Fortunately, there are many types of receding hairline treatments. However, not all hair loss cures are equal: some are good, some are not so good and some are just downright scams. In this article, I'll tell you why you lose your hair and what you can do about it.

Why You?

If you ask any guy why he is bald and his friends are not, you will certainly hear the word "genetics".

True, genetics is often the explanation for the difference, but it tells us nothing about why or how you start to lose your hair. Plus it also makes men think that there is nothing they can do about their problem except wait to lose most of their hair and then finally "shave their heads".

I saw a guy like that recently who was only 29 years old but had already shaved his head - his dome stubble revealed a Peter Boyle style baldness pattern. But it doesn't have to be like this.

DHT

It all comes down to DHT, a hormonal byproduct that every man has in varying quantities.

Some guys have a great deal of DHT, due to their genetic makeup. Unfortunately, the more you have, the more likely you are to lose your hair and lose it early. That's because this chemical denutrifies the hair follicles, basically it starves them of the nutrients they need to produce strong and healthy hairs.

It happens at the front of the head which is why you get the common receding hairline.

Treatment

The best treatments are those that actually address the follicles' malnutrition problem.

Hair transplants do work but they rely on taking follicles from the back and side of the head. So eventually, all your hair is lost at the back and sides and you are only left with hair at the front of your head! Just because you walk out of the clinic with a smile on your face doesn't mean that you will be feeling the same way a decade later!

There are a couple of ways to renutrify the follicles. One is drug treatment but this is frought with dangerous side effects. The other is natural products like saw palmetto.
